Soul Moaning - Poem

Walking

And holding

My owning

Soul moaning

Through bones

I am sowing

The seed

That I own me

To know that

I’m worthy

something

no one told me

Left believing

I had to earn me

Wrong me

Score, grade, and burn me

To amount to greatness

Before even knowing

My me-ness

Let’s get straight to business

Fuck this

Stop this

Hold on

And pause, Miss

I want to tell you

Your worthiness

Amounts to so much more

Than what has been witnessed

Your wholeness

Is not to be earned

It’s to be worn like a headdress

Something given at birth

To our souls

Mmmmm…Yes!!

Get ready...

To feel your cells quake

Your bones brake

Your bellies come undone

Legs shake

Quiver in pleasure

Feel that…mmmm yes so clever

Be whole in our endeavors

Feel our souls as we surrender

Into our full pleasure

So able can we go

Into a place to call home

Feel all of our soul

drop into that wholesome whole

Because if we don’t

Then we might never know

Or maybe we won’t

Feel that

Wholesome

Yummy

Whole

Walking…

Waking to my wholeness

Sorry I have mistaken me

For being anything less

Than all of me

In my own

Me-ness
